I have spent the last 44 years as a commercial interior designer. When I embarked on my chosen career, interior design was an art-based discipline, requiring the ability to draw and paint representations of complete interiors for the benefit of clients.
Today, this ability has been overtaken by computers, and the need to draw has all but disappeared from design course. They are now more like computer courses.
As in all art, its often tempting to stop and be discouraged. Well, I persisted, and my paintings got better. Today, I still get discouraged, but I know one must persist, and carry on.
On top of selling my existing pieces (please, contact me for details), I also love to work on bespoke projects, respecting my customers’ requirements and desires.
